It gives me immense pleasure to welcome and introduce you to Rayat Shikshan Sanstha’s, Veer Wajekar Arts, Science & Commerce College, Phunde, Tal-Uran, and District-Raigad.
Rayat Shikshan Sanstha founded by Padmabhushan Dr.Karmveer Bhaurao Patil in 1919 is a leading educational institution in Asia, imparting quality education to the down-trodden and economically poor sections of society.
Our college was established in 1989 and is affiliated to University of Mumbai, offers the programmes in Arts, Science, Commerce at undergraduate and post graduate level. Information Technology & Management Programmes are also introduced for the benefits of students who desire to take education in technology & management area. This institute has achieved the B+ (CGPA 2.58) grade in 3rd cycle of NAAC in 2019. The University of Mumbai has honored this college with ‘Best College Award’ and also the College is the recipient of ‘Karmaveer Paritoshik’ by Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara.
We feel proud to mention that our college has played a pivotal role in making career and personality development of students and thousands of them benefited from quality education provided by our institute. To achieve the holistic development of the students from diverse background, our college motivated students to participate in Co-curricular activities such as Avishkar, Research competitions, Cultural and sports activities organized at Zonal Intercollegiate & University levels. The students are also encouraged to participate in activities organized by NSS, NCC, Competitive examination and Skill Development Cells of our college.
